On this course you'll learn how to become more productive using Microsoft Excel. The course will increase your knowledge of using formulas and inserting functions - eg TODAY, SUM, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, IF etc. We'll also show you how to create drop-down lists, sort data, filter data and setup conditional formatting. We end the course showing you the power of PivotTables to quickly summarise your data.
Duration
The course can be delivered to small groups as a 1 day tutor-led course. The course can also be delivered on a 1-to-1 basis over 5 hourly sessions at EC-PC Aberdeen.
Version
The course is delivered using Microsoft Excel 2016 (Office 365). Training using other versions of Microsoft Excel may be available on request.

Are there any entry requirements?
Learners should have good existing skills using Microsoft Excel, eg be familiar with the majority of topics covered on our Microsoft Excel Beginners Plus course.
Will I need any software installed on my PC?
Yes, you will need a PC installed with Windows 10 (other versions of Windows may work but unfortunately we cannot support them). In order to complete the practice exercises you’ll need Microsoft Excel installed.
How long will it take to complete the course?
This will depend on your existing skills – the approximate duration is between 5 and 15 hours.
