On this course you'll learn useful tools and time-saving ways to work with slides, insert content, apply slide transition and animate slide content. We'll end the course by getting your presentation all set for delivery!

Customised learning
Training can be customised to cover specific topics. Learn all topics from the course outline, or learn just what you need to know – you decide!
Requirements
You'll need to have some basic Microsoft Office skills, eg be able to open a Microsoft Word file and make basic changes.
Duration
Training can be delivered in 1 day or over a period of time, eg 1 hour a week for 5 weeks.
Location
We can provide 1-to-1 training at our Aberdeen Training Centre. Business group training courses can be delivered onsite in the Aberdeen area and in cities throughout Scotland.
Remote learning
1-to-1 training can be delivered using Microsoft Teams.
Notes
You’ll receive a printed training manual if you attend a face-to-face course. For remote courses we’ll send you a PDF manual.
Certification
You’ll have the option to obtain the EC-PC Microsoft PowerPoint Basic User Certificate. To obtain the certificate you’ll need to pass a practical online assessment.

By the end of the course learners will be able to:
If you live in Scotland you could be eligible to apply for funding to pay for the course with an SDS Individual Training Account (ITA) from Skills Development Scotland.
You can apply for ITA funding if you are 16 or over and you are:
– unemployed and on benefits
– not working and have no income
– employed with an annual income less than £22,000
– self-employed with an annual income less than £22,000
You will not be eligible to apply for ITA funding if you are in education or involved in any other SDS funded programme.
