On this course we'll show you how to use tools and formulas to make your spreadsheets user-friendly. You'll learn how data validation can be used to ensure that data is entered correctly. We'll introduce you to the Developer Ribbon and show how to create a drop-down list. You'll also learn how protection can be used, how to track changes and how to save a workbook as a template. We'll end the course showing you how to insert various types of useful hyperlinks and objects, and create a basic navigation menu!
1 day (5 to 6 hours approx).
Learners should have experience using Microsoft Excel, eg be familiar with the majority of topics covered on our Microsoft Excel Intermediate User course.
Learners will receive user-friendly course notes for future reference.
The course is delivered using Microsoft Excel Office 365. We can provide training using other versions of Microsoft Excel on request.
Learners who complete the course will receive the following e-Certificate: EC-PC Microsoft Excel User-Friendly Spreadsheets. The certificate may be used as evidence of CPD depending on the requirements of the learner’s profession.
Learners will receive 12 month’s complimentary membership to the EC-PC Learning Club.
