On this course you'll learn how to be more productive using Microsoft Excel. We'll show you how to use tools to organise and visualise data. You'll increase your knowledge of using formulas and inserting functions - eg TODAY, SUM, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, IF etc. We end the course showing you the power of PivotTables to quickly summarise your data, and we'll show you how to use the Quick Analyse tool.
Learn by watching easy-to-follow video lessons covering each of the course topics. Videos are short in duration, we aim to make learning quick and easy.
Learners will be able to download the files used in each video and then complete an exercise to practice what they have been shown.
Learners receive e-mail support from an EC-PC Tutor to answer any questions relating to the course lessons and exercises. We’ll back this up with 1-to-1 remote real-time support if you have any questions that can’t be answered by e-mail.
Learners who pass the course assessment will receive a digital Certificate of Competence (a printed certificate may be posted for an additional fee).
Learners complete the course at their own pace. Based on completing a few lessons a day it would take 3-4 weeks to complete the course.
Learners should have good existing skills using Microsoft Excel, eg be familiar with the majority of topics covered on our Microsoft Excel Basic User course.
Learners will need to have access to a Windows 10 PC, with an internet connection, installed with Microsoft 365 (we can provide a 3 month temporary licence for an additional fee).
Learners will get 12 months’ access to our online learning system. So, plenty of time to complete the course and revise.
