This course is aimed at learners who have existing knowledge and experience of health and safety in the workplace.
Our Fast Track course allows you to sit the SQA assessment Health and Safety in a Construction Environment on demand. You’ll still need to sit the CSCS Operatives Test and meet all CITB requirements. To be eligible you’ll need 2 years’ knowledge and experience of health and safety in the construction industry OR 3 years’ knowledge and experience of health and safety in the oil & gas industry.
How does the course work?
You will be required to attend a 1-to-1 training and assessment session with a tutor/assessor lasting 2 to 3 hours. If you fail the SQA assessment you will be required to attend our next available tutor-led course. If you pass the course assessment you will be awarded the following SQA qualification: Health and Safety in a Construction Environment. By passing the assessment you will then be eligible to sit the CSCS Operatives Test and get the CSCS Green Card for Labourers.
