How long does the course last?
5 hours approximately (all in 1 day, or over 5 hourly lessons).
When does the course take place?
The course can be arranged to fit in with your schedule (training sessions can be booked during the day and/or evenings, 7 days a week).
Are there any entry requirements?
You’ll need to have some basic skills and you’ll need to decide which program or programs you would like to focus on. For example, say you needed to learn Outlook and Excel in more depth for a new job, then ad-hoc sessions could be tailored to concentrate just on these 2 programs.
Are there any technical requirements?
You’ll need to have access to a Windows 10 PC/laptop with a reliable broadband connection. You’ll also need to have a webcam or a hands-free phone. Preferably you’ll have the latest version of Microsoft Office installed (if you do not have Microsoft Office we can still teach you).
How is the course taught?
Your EC-PC Tutor will remotely connect to your PC/laptop over the Internet. The tutor will work though each course topic and teach you on a 1-to-1 basis.
Is there funding to pay for the course?
